A customer who knows framing
and is fun to work with.
A
trumpet with a conductor's baton and music. Mounted on royal
purple suede in a black shadowbox frame.
A
Rousseau oil painting framed traditionally with frame, liner
and fillet.
On
the left an Egyptian papyrus. On the right a Middle Eastern
silk painting.
A
complete magazine article mounted on blue acid-free matboard
and laminated on a single large plaque.
Graydon
is still very young and his teddy and train are preserved
for posterity.The
train seemed lost in the frame and we created a tunnel.Space has been allowed for additional items to be
added over time.Letters
are glued but the teddy and train are sewn and could easily
be removed unharmed.
The
client of this project is a collector of stamps.Using acid free 8 ply, 6 ply and 4 ply matting we
created different heights to showcase the single stamp, page
and envelopes.
The
challenge with this project was to find something to
complement the wide sofa. Our client ( a designer ) searched the catalogues and
found these images.We
mounted and laminated them with a raised gold edge and put
them onlinen
fabric.The
frame has a textured gold finish with a rope pattern that
highlights the nautical theme.
This
project is great to showcase many of our more unusual
frames. The matting is one from a large and very
beautiful selection of synthetic suede. To note as
well the fillet ( inner frame ). A nice frame choice
for a delightfully exotic picture.
Here
is a picture of the frame you made for us. Hope you can use
it for the website.
Before the actual parade, I displayed the frame in a room
for all to take a look at and the general expression was
"Amazing!!!" They were really happy with the
results.
It was a real pleasure dealing with Anastasia. Her vast
experience, knowledge and eagerness to help, all with a
smile, made making a decision easier. Hats off to a very
professional young lady.
The people in the picture are
Left: Receiving the frame; Colonel Lafleur, which at the
time was leaving command of 33 Canadian Brigade Group which
includes 16 different army units from across the province. A
total command of over 5000 troops.
Right: Presenting the frame; Corporal Medeiros. As a
tradition, the commander’s driver presents the departing
gift.
Thanks you.

Domenic
was lucky to acquire a signed poster from his favourite
player Patrick Lalime. We framed it with a black frame and 3 hand painted
lines( French matting )on the acid free mat board. We hope he will share this with his grand children. In the meantime it’s a great inspiration for him.
This
was an interesting project. All these images appeared in Vanity Fair except the
actress positioned as the trigger. The frame is black and the matting has an unusual
texture with the lettering in gold leaf. Our client has yet to find the ideal wall.It will be interesting to see this in it’s best
location.
The
wood for this frame is from Europe and was taken from
buildings over 100 years of age.The lock is held with supports that allow the piece
to be kept intact. The background is suede.
